The 133 Portofino Clubhouse follows the Portofino design style, and offers an open and naturally ventilated space within the property. Designed with warm tones and colourful furniture, the clubhouse was envisioned by Frank Leung of via.
New Office Works installation for deTour, PMQ
Earlier this month, I was tasked with photographing New Office Work’s latest project: an installation for deTour, a design festival organised at PMQ in Hong Kong.
Designed around the theme of ‘social-distancing’ a trio of colourful and transparent object where placed in a way to enhance safe ways of conversation.
133 Portofino photographed for Sino Group
133 Portofino, a resort style living development recently completed construction.
I was commissioned by Sino Group to photograph the property.
Set in lush Sai Kung, it was a great project to photograph from a larger viewpoint overlooking the sea and mountains to a more detailed view of the facade and other design elements.
Exhibition: Beautified China at Roca Beijing Gallery
From November 16th till December 15th, Beautified China will be shown at Roca Beijing Gallery.
As part of the City Reflections program, this immersive exhibition will show 60 buildings from 12 different cities in China.
Part of Beijing Photo Week, Beautified China: the exhibition is accompanying the recently published Beautified China book.
Aedas and Superimpose win at The Architecture Masterprize
Great to see clients win at the The Architecture MasterPrize!
Aedas is a winner in the Commercial Architecture category with Peak Galleria mall in Hong Kong.
Superimpose Architecture won a honorable mention in the Interior Design / Workplace category with SOHO 3Q in Chengdu.
Kris Provoost Photography was commissioned to photograph these projects.
Award: Blueprint Photography Awards
At the end of last year, I won the Professional Urbanism Category at the Blueprint Photography Awards with a photo taken in Chongqing, China.
Portrayed here is a photo taken from my Human vs City series. In the frame is a juxtaposition of a brutal construction site with a natural riverbank where a Chongqing citizen is unfazed by what happens behind him.
Human vs City, is a series of photos taken in 2019, highlighting the contrast between human scale in a metropolis like Chongqing.

Construction Update: Airside
Snøhetta and Nan Fung Group's Airside reaches 30 floors. Another 15 to go, before it tops out at 200 meter. The organization of volumes becomes clear now as it steps from lowrise volumes all the way up to the 200 meter tower.
With facade mounting in process, the wave glazing panels become visible.

K11 Art and Cultural Centre - Hong Kong
K11 Art and Cultural Center has recently been opened at the K11 Musea development at Victoria Dockside in Hong Kong.
The Arts Center is wrapped in about 300 glass tubes of each 9 meters tall. It stands out in a mosaic of different facade types of the K11 Musea development.

20 Des Voeux Road, Hong Kong - Aedas
Aedas is rebuilding Tak Shing House, and while construction is going on they designed a hoarding to create a clean passage way towards the MTR entrance in Central, Hong Kong. So instead of passing by a fence for a couple of years, instead we can walk underneath this designed canopy.
